After completing the admission requirements, contact the Veterans Affairs (VA) office to complete and submit the required documentation for VA certification.

| Authorizes the school certifying official to process enrollment information to the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and required every semester of enrollment. | |
| 22-1990 | Required of all new applicants utilizing benefits for the first time. Eligible participants include veterans and reservists/guardsmen. Veterans should submit DD Form 214 (Member 4 Copy) and reservists/guardsmen should submit DD Form 2384 with application. |
| 22-1995 | Required of veterans and reservists/guardsmen having used benefits previously or has changed degree/major since last enrollment. |
| 22-5490 | Required of dependents and spouses of totally disabled or deceased service-connected veterans. |
| 22-5495 | Required of dependents and spouses of totally disabled or deceased service-connected veterans having used benefits previously or has changed degree/major since last enrollment. |
